"They're teenagers. They're supposed to be creative, imaginative, push the envelope, challenge

they have to find out you'll find limitations."



While dress code needs and cellphone principles fluctuate, a sampling of colleges inside the

Chicago region Tuesday turned up no such boot bans. Chicago Public Schools officials said such

policies are as much as each and every school's discretion.



Parental response in Pottstown has ranged from supportive to calling the policy "totally

ridiculous," as outlined by the Pottstown Mercury newspaper.
